What are Canada Permanent Resident (PR) Processing Rules?

In January 2015, the Government of Canada introduced the Express Entry Program making it easier for people all over the world to immigrate to Canada and Apply Canada Permanent Resident Visa with a validity of five (5) years. The Canada permanent resident visa provides immigrants almost equal rights as of a citizen, except voting right.

Applicants are required to submit their Express Entry profile and enter a pool wherein Invitations to Apply (ITA) are issued to applicants with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score on or above a certain cut-off. Applicants are awarded CRS points by their age, education, relevant work experience, adaptability skills and language proficiency skills in either English or French.
